Women in Aviation International was established to support and advance women across all aviation career fields. Over the years, the organization has grown into a global network of members including pilots, engineers, maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers, educators, and industry leaders.
Through initiatives such as scholarships, mentorship programs, and Girls in Aviation Day, WAI continues to expand opportunities and inspire future generations.

Provides strategic leadership, oversees chapter development, coordinates
partnerships within the aviation community, and ensures alignment with
Women in Aviation International’s mission. Amanda represents the chapter at
community events, educational outreach programs, and industry

Vice President (6 months)
Supports strategic planning and program implementation, assists with event
coordination, and leads STEM and workforce development initiatives that
connect students to aviation career pathways
Maintains official records, meeting minutes, governance documentation, and
organizational compliance materials. Ensures transparent communication
within the board and membership

Oversees financial management, budgeting, fiscal reporting, and internal
financial controls. Guides the chapter in establishing responsible financial
systems during its early growth phase
